Laura makes a quick exit as Genie Francis is off 'General Hospital' until the fall
Genie Francis is off again Genie Francis announced recently that she was taking the summer off from GENERAL HOSPITAL in order to spend time with her family. Spoilers now reveal that the actress will be gone from the ABC soap until the fall. Her character Laura Collins is going to make a quick and dramatic exit from Port Charles but no details are known at this time. Her brother Martin called her on Friday and said they were in trouble. It is being suggested that it has to do with Cyrus.

It's a wrap for Kyle and Summer on 'The Young and the Restless'
Those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS have been waiting for the official word that Kyle and Summer are history on the CBS soap and now they have it. Skyle fans must now finally accept that their favorite couple is gone at least for now. There will be no wedding onscreen in Genoa City or Milan. It's a wrap for this popular couple who had so much more that could have been done with their story. Michael Mealor and Hunter King both recently talked with SOAP OPERA DIGEST during a Podcast and shared what is going on in their current situations.

Sally Spectra has big plans on 'The Young and the Restless'
A number of those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS thought Sally Spectra would be long gone from Genoa City after her connection to Tara Locke was revealed. Fans could not see a future for this woman who had caused so much trouble for Kyle and Summer. Viewers were bracing for the news that Courtney Hope was out of the show right behind Elizabeth Lanier but they got a pleasant surprise. Hope's character remains in Genoa City and has some amazing prospects for a successful life.

The Young and the Restless executive producer Anthony Morina accused of sexual harassment
According to breaking news from several media outlets, there is a scandal brewing that is associated with THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Soaps.com, SOAP OPERA NETWORK, and VARIETY are all reporting that the executive producer of the soap Anthony Morina has been named in a lawsuit against CBS STUDIOS and SONY. The plaintiff is Briana Thomas who briefly worked on the soap. The lawsuit alleges that Thomas was the victim of Morina's inappropriate behavior between 2018 and 2019 when she appeared as a barista on the show.

Arnold the pig was the true star of 'Green Acres'
GREEN ACRES ran on CBS from 1965-1971. Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor were Oliver and Lisa Douglas the stars of the series and they had an amazing cast working with them. Frank Cady was Mr. Drucker the no-nsense general store owner, Pat Buttram portrayed Mr. Haney who was always trying to make a buck, and Tom Lester played Ebb Dawson the Douglases handyman. Alvy Moore was Hank Kimble the bumbling fumbling, forgetful, county agent and Sid Melton and Mary Grace Canfield portrayed the Monroe Brothers Ralph and Alf.

Thomas Mikal Ford portrayed interesting characters
Thomas Mikal Ford's face graced both television and movie screens during the late 1980s and the 1990s. He was born on September 5, 1964, and passed away on October 12, 2016 at the age of 52. The cause of death was said to be a stomach aneurysm and his many fans were left in shock. Ford was a comedian as well as an actor and he left his audience in stitches. His most famous role was portraying Thomas "Tommy" Strawn on the sitcom MARTIN which aired on FOX from 1992 until 1997. He received an NAACP Image Awards nomination in 1996 for his role as Tommy in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

Spencer's girlfriend Esme is a live wire on 'General Hospital'
On Thursday's episode of GENERAL HOSPITAL, it was revealed that the nurse who set Ava's car on fire is actually spencer's girlfriend Esme. The young Cassadine prince has been spending a lot of time with Trina and there was never any hint that he was dating anyone else. Now viewers know Esme tried to throw suspicion off of Spencer by making it look as if someone else set Ava's car on fire. She also clearly was trying to be territorial in front of Trina and was surprised that Spencer did not introduce her to or tell his friends about her.

Mariah's disappearance has twists and turns on "The Young and the Restless'
Wednesday on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Michael Baldwin and Rey Rosales discussed Mariah Copeland's disappearance. It was brought out that Ian Ward is still in prison so he is not a suspect. The men decided that it probably is someone that knows Mariah or has an ax to grind with Sharon, Rey said he could think of one person and then went to see Adam. Rey, like Chloe, does not believe that Adam has truly changed and both continue to expect him to slip up.

On Tuesday's episode of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS Nikki Newman read Sally Spectra the riot act. She warned the redhead there would be consequences if she continued to come after her family. Sally believes she did nothing wrong because Summer got her dream job and her man. Ms. Spectra has licked her wounds and believes she is moving on to greener pastures.

Pepe Le Pew little known facts
Controversy In spite of the cancel culture attempting to make the cartoon character Pepe Le Pew extinct from society, his ardent fans are sticking by him. The cartoon skunk was remoced from the new SPACE JAM film but there ae man wo are rallying around him.For decades the animated pole cat's antics were seen as romantic and humorous but today there are women who say Pepe should be viewed as a possible a rapist. The issue seems to be the way his actions towards Penelope Pussy Cat are being viewed through a modern lens.
