Noah Cyrus’s Music Career
Let’s dive into the evolution Grammy Nominee Noah Cyrus

Noah Cyrus is the youngest of the Cyrus family breaking into the music business. It started off with her father Billy Ray Cyrus to her older sister now Grammy Winning Miley Cyrus and their brother Trace Cyrus in a rock group. And now, Noah. Noah signed with a record deal, releasing music featuring artists like Labri,Demi Lovato earning her accolades including a Grammy nomination. This is the music evolution of Noah Cyrus.
Noah Cyrus was the youngest daughter of Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus.

At the age of 2, Cyrus began her acting career, playing Gracie Hebert on the sixth episode of her father's TV show Doc. Around the time, during the 2000s, Noah’s older sister, Miley was auditioning for Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana. After she was cast in Hannah Montana, the Cyrus family moved to California to support their sister Miley. Hannah Montana premiered on on March 24, 2006. In every seasons of Hannah Montana, Noah has made several appearances in the show.
Noah would pursue as a child actress in films and television shows. She has appeared in Mostly Ghostly, The Emperors New School, and Monster House which was her first voice animation film.

Her next voice animated film when she voice dubbed the Studio Ghi anime film Ponyo alongside with her co-star Frankie Jonas, the youngest brother of the Jonas Brothers.
Noah and Frankie recorded the song “Ponyo” for the film. In 2009 and 2010, Cyrus ran a webshow with her childhood best friend Emily Grace Reaves, which was titled The Noie and Ems Show.
After her acting career drifted, Noah focused on her music trying to build Cyrus music empire. Cyrus recorded a cover song of Lorde "Team". At 16, Cyrus signed with Cyrus had signed a record deal with Barry Weiss' record label named Records, and later signed a management deal with Maverick under Adam Leber.
She released her debut single "Make Me (Cry)" featuring English singer Labrinth that same day.
The song received positive reviews and topped the Billboard charts. On April 14, 2017, she released another single, called "Stay Together" followed by the single "I'm Stuck" released on May 25, 2017. On September 21, 2017, she released another single "Again" featuring XXXTentacion.
Cyrus debuted NC-17 which was supposed to be set to be released in 2018 through the label however the album was never released. In 2017, she opened for Katy Perry on the Witness: The Tour. In November 2017, Cyrus made an appearance at Emo Nite in Los Angeles for a surprise DJ set which included some of her and her half-brother Trace Cyrus' music. Her next single of 2018, "We Are..." featuring Danish artist MØ, was released on February 7. Cyrus released "Team", a collaboration with MAX, on May 11, 2018. A follow-up collaboration "Lately", was released on June 15, 2018, with Tanner Alexander. On July 9, 2018, Cyrus announced her first headlining tour, The Good Cry Tour. Her next collaboration, “Live or Die” with her then boyfriend Lil Xan was released on August 20, 2018. The two would end up dating in June 2018 and ended their relationship in September 2018.
I’m not surprised that their relationship lasted for months and faded to obscurity because I kind of believe it was a stunt. If you have watched the interview with her and Lil Xan at the 2018 VMAs it seemed so sketchy with Like it seem like the two had nothing in common. It is good thing that they broke up. Anyways…..
In 2018, Cyrus signed with Columbia Records and released her first EP Good Cry on September 21, 2018.

Her music often relates to her mental health struggles including her breakup with Lil Xan. Good Cry was listed as the 19th best EP of 2018 by Idolator and praised by music critics.
In 2019, Cyrus released a song called "July", as the first single of her second EP, The End of Everything.

Her second EP made rave reviews. Her singles “Lonely” and “I Got So High I Saw Jesus” were the most singles from her EP. Her sister Miley would be featured in her single.
That song deserves a Grammy nomination.
After the good reception of The End of Everything, she was prepared to release her first full-length album in early 2021. In 2020, Noah was nominated for a Grammy for Best New Artist which driven Cyrus to tears.
Unfortunately, Cyrus lost to Megan Thee Stallion for Best New Artist.
Despite she lost the Grammys, Cyrus continues to make more music. Cyrus released her debut album The Hardest Part in 2022. The Hardest Part was met with widespread critical acclaim from music critics after its release.

Maura Johnson of Rolling Stone wrote:
"A compact yet emotionally resonant collection of Laurel Canyon-recalling pop from the youngest member of the Cyrus clan. Channeling Cyrus' recent travails, which include the death of her grandmother, her parents’ romantic problems, and her own addiction to and recovery from Xanax, The Hardest Part is unflinching yet tender".
Recently, in May 2024, Cyrus released the duet "How Far Will We Take It?" with country musician Orville Peck. She was also featured on and helped write the single "My Fault" with country singer Shaboozey.
Noah Cyrus is an amazing artist. My favorite songs are Together, July, and low key Live or Die.
