About this challenge
The Prompt
Write a poem about a dinosaur.
It's time to resurrect the giants of the past: join us in this Jurassic journey and let your imagination roar. We challenge you to write a poem about a dinosaur (or from a dinosaur's perspective). The poem may take place when dinosaurs once roamed, or you can bring them back to live in the present day. What was day to day life like for a sauropod in the Mesozoic era? What would a stegosaurus say about modern traffic? From T-Rexes to Pterodactyls, it's time to get prehistoric with your poetry. All poetry forms are welcome 🦕
In order for your submission to qualify, it must be:
- Submitted to Poets community. Choosing a community is a final step in the submission process. Your poem may be rejected for word count requirements if it is submitted to any other community.
