Clocks displayed the time. There existed an air of timeliness that Lisa enjoyed. She always thought about believers saying they serve an “on-time God.” She always held that if you’re on time, you’re late. This fueled her endeavors.

Today she tackled harassment on her site. She instructed her engineers to eliminate any accounts that even hinted at the idea of showing themselves to be flagrant.

“Lisa,” Chief Engineer Robert Knowland announced via video chat.

“What’s that, Bob?”

“We’re seeing an influx of women harassing men on the site,” he proclaimed.

Lisa didn’t seem shocked or surprised. Her face, instead, turned to stone.

“Okay, we deal with them the same way we would with our male users,” she lobbed back at him.

“That sounds nice, but the code—”

“The code is there to process these kinds of events. If there are more women breaking our user agreement guidelines then they must be canceled from the site without warning.”

Knowland nodded his head slightly almost as a salute to Lisa. The video screen became blank. Lisa spun around on her swivel chair and looked at another monitor. It showed all code, but she could form a picture in her mind’s eye regarding the lines of characters that constituted the site.

Knowland reported back to her. “There’s too many accounts to cancel. The females are doing a reverse ‘Me Too’ movement on us.”

“There’s something we can do. We can use an algorithm to clean out all of the offending posts and untoward behavior. Once we do that, we’ll have a chance to see a groundswell of change.”

Knowland looked at his superior and acknowledged the command. He told his own subordinates to do exactly what Lisa had said. It took only an hour for the site to be cleared of ugly content.
