War and Peace - Critique
“All is vanity, all falsehood, except that infinite sky.” - Prince Andrei. Written by Leo Tolstoy (1869)

Humans’ search for meaning,
All is futile,
One can’t fight history,
Napoleonic wars,
Chronicling two decades,
Pierre’s profound quest,
Andrei’s heart-breaking demise,
Natasha wanted Boris to kiss her doll - such simpler times,
Yet now a beautiful woman, unlucky in love -
One of the greatest writers that ever lived.

Well done!!!❤️❤️💕
Can't believe I missed this, Miss seeing you in the notifications! 🥲😅
I actually don't think I've ever read this... You did such a phenomenal job summing it up, maybe I don't need to. haha! Another great one, Grz!
Never read this book but sounds like a good read
I cannot remember if I actually read this. Have to revisit. War? What is it good for, absolutely nothing. Huh!
I really should read this 😁
I just love how you write poems for your reviews! They're always so amazing!
To quote Sam Malone, "There's a movie!!!!!?" Towering writer.
I commend anyone who tackles this book :)
So, I have not read this but would love to. On the strength of this critique, it will definitely happen. If a career comes for a critiquer(?) of 50 words exactly, you must consider it.
You tackled a giant and did it perfectly! Well done Grz!
You nailed it. I was going to take this on but didn't know how I could do it within the word count constraint. You have done it perfectly.
I really like the style you use for this critique. It feels like it’s so much longer than the word count! Same with your last one actually! 🥰✨
Have a new trans to read...
I’ll have to read this!
