As a student, we need to study many things to become a professional in any topic we need to study a lot of things. But all topics or information is not equally important for our exam. It is also very hard for us to memorize all the topics to do well in the exam.

For those reasons, many students take notes to do well in the exam. But if you are a student like me have some problems taking notes, I will help you to overcome this problem with my own tips.

Let's discuss those topics and solve the problem together.

1. Date your notes and make the main topic visible

At first, start taking notes, you need to give dates because it helps you to revise your topic and organize the chapter easily. It will also help you to identify when you read the topic and when you need to revise the topic because the human brain is habitual and it needs to review the critical thing more than one time. If you give a date in your notes you can schedule your revision during your exam time. You also need to write the topic clearly because without writing the topic clearly, your notebook will become workless.

2. Don’t write everything down

It is a common problem for us when we take notes, we think every part of our topic is important and we start to take note-down all of the information. But it is not the way to take notes. At first, you need to identify what part of a topic you fully understand and what topic you need to revise on your exam date or need to memorize in your way. You need to summarize the topic that you fully understand. Then you need to note down the main topic and what you need to do to improve or need to study one more time. So, it will be very easy for you to understand the note in the long run.

3. Make short notes and give examples

It is ok that you make your note system but you do not need to write a lot of information about a subtopic. You need to write a short overview of the topic and point out those complicated things. With the short description, you need to use real-life examples that will help you to memorize those topics. You can able give your own opinion on that topic. That will help you to get more marks in the exam.

4. Use color

Use color in your notes to make them very attractive and also help us to indicate the important part of the note. Our brain is also like colorful things. It is not like a black and white thing. If you make your note colorful your brain is taking it very easily. But you do not use many colors in your note because it makes your note missy. So, you need to use less than 3 colors.

5. Use illustrations and drawing

Sometimes we make our notes but we don't properly understand the topic. So, if you find a topic is very complex you need to turn it into illustrations and drawings. Because 70% of our learning is going through our vision. If you are good at drawing you can create illustrations on complex topics.

Bonus: Don't Copy Others Note

Naver copied other notes because every person has a different brain and has a different learning capacity.

At last, We can say that if you follow the five rules properly, you can create your note easily and perfectly that helps you in future.
