The Holy Quran underscores the importance of accountability, stating: “Indeed, (you) will have to answer for every one of these: the ear, the eye and the heart.” (Bani Israel: 36). This verse highlights the two most prominent senses, the ear and the eye, while also referencing the heart, which governs all senses. This serves as a reminder to humanity that every part of their being is subject to accountability. Furthermore, the Quran illustrates the reckoning on the Day of Judgment with the verse: “This Day I will seal their faces, and their hands will speak to Me, and their feet will bear witness to what they did in the world.” (Yasin: 65).
