The micro below is a follow up to my recent story Find the Rabbit. It will make more sense if you read that first.

Find the rabbit.

That was the last thing on my mind.

Pressure mounted across my temples, through my sinuses.

I had no intention of looking.

I was happy falling further down the hole with no purpose.

Rabbit holes are not voyages of discovery.

They twist. They turn. They dislodge us from the safety of reason.

My plan? Avoid the rabbit.

I wanted to know who sent me inward.

The woman that hope forgot made it clear: this was an order.

But who gained from this deep dive?

Great follow-up, Paul! I'll continue down the rabbit hole to see where this goes!

Yup. We've to be wary of following that rabbit. Or further down the hole we go! A good one, Paul.
