Peek into the future

A man who can see future.

By Taimoor Hassan AlviPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

There was a person named Alex who had a special ability - he could see 10 seconds into the future. It wasn't something he had asked for or even knew how to control, but it had been with him for as long as he could remember.

At first, he didn't really know what to do with it. It wasn't like he could predict the stock market or win at the casino. But as he got older, he realized that it did give him a slight advantage in everyday life. He could tell when someone was about to bump into him on the street or when a car was about to pull out of a parking spot.

It wasn't until he was in his mid-twenties that he began to realize the true potential of his gift. One day, as he was walking down the street, he saw a man about to step into the path of an oncoming car. Without thinking, Alex reached out and grabbed the man, pulling him back onto the sidewalk just in time to avoid being hit.

The man looked at Alex, surprised and grateful. "How did you know?" he asked.

Alex didn't really know how to explain it, so he just shrugged. "I just...saw it," he said.

From then on, Alex began to pay more attention to his visions. He started to see patterns and learn how to interpret them. He could tell when something bad was about to happen, and he would do everything in his power to stop it.

It wasn't always easy, though. Sometimes his visions were vague or confusing, and he couldn't always figure out what they meant until it was too late. And there were times when he wished he didn't have the gift at all, like when he saw a loved one's death coming and couldn't do anything to stop it.

Despite the challenges, Alex knew that his gift was something special. He felt like he had a purpose in life, something that set him apart from everyone else. And he was determined to use it for good.

One day, Alex was walking through the park when he saw a young girl wandering off into the woods. He knew that something bad was going to happen, but he didn't know what. He followed her, trying to stay out of sight, until he saw her trip and fall, hitting her head on a rock.

Alex rushed to her side, checking her pulse and calling for help. He knew that the girl was going to be okay, but he also knew that he had to stay with her until the ambulance arrived. As he waited, he couldn't help but wonder if this was his calling - to help people who were in danger and prevent tragedy before it happened.

Over the next few years, Alex became something of a local hero. He was known for his uncanny ability to predict accidents and disasters, and he became a sort of unofficial guardian angel for the people in his community. He was always there to lend a hand when someone needed it, and he never hesitated to put himself in harm's way to save others.

But as much as he loved helping people, Alex couldn't shake the feeling that he was missing something in his own life. He had never been able to have a normal relationship, always worried that his visions would drive people away. And he had never been able to plan for the future, always living in the moment and relying on his gift to guide him.

It wasn't until he met Sarah that everything changed. Sarah was different from anyone he had ever met before. She was smart, funny, and kind, and she didn't seem to mind his strange ability. In fact, she thought it was fascinating.

For the first time in his life, Alex began to see a future for
