Swirling in front of the mirror, loving the swish of her skirt as it seductively ruffles around her knees.
At just four foot tall, she pines for a little more height. Petite is fine, but short is a nightmare when it comes to fashion.
All her life she’s been teased and bullied over her height, developing a pure hatred of short.
Tonight she has an important date with a man she’s had a crush on for months and she knows she looks good.
Lastly, she steps into her new sassy high heels to give her confidence that much needed boost.
I was challenged to write a drabble of the word ‘sassy'.
Wikipedia defines a drabble as follows :
A drabble is a short work of fiction of precisely one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.

The Lesions of Devotion
Every day I set myself down on the freshly cut lawn and strip myself bare. I take my guitar and finger the frets and pick at the strings, listening for dissonance. My life is dissonance. I twist the tuning pegs until each string sounds bright. Then I kneel, calves pointing behind me, kneecaps facing forward. All exposed to the breeze. I close my eyes and play the melody.

It was designed to utilize abductive leaps with deterministic physical simulation. Having placed the box on the pressure-sensitive square depression, trotted around the excavated, looping hallway, only to find no opened doorway to release it from its task, it determined some aspect was deficient in its approach. It first adapted by placing different faces of the box onto the square depression of the stone altar, but each face only resulted in another loop around the hallway to find the architecture unchanged and to be led back to the central chamber.
