The Long Journey Home

One hot summer day on June 21, 2021, I was taking my normal walk that I do everyday and I noticed an Antique store that I had never seen before. I saw a man looking out the window. Of course I was curious, as I walked in, the sound of the creaking door slowly closed behind me. As I looked around, there were a lot of beautiful antique mirrors, pictures, tables and chairs and such pretty dresses. A I turned around to walk out, a scary little man approached me out of nowhere. He asked if I would be interested in buying an old heart shaped locket from the 1800's for a good price. It was a beautiful locket and for the price it was a steal. I paid for the locket and as I am walking out the door he says "thank you, enjoy your magical locket. Thinking nothing about it, I said "welcome, have a great day". I went home, did my usual and went to bed. I woke up next morning and realized everything was different. My home was not the same, and my family was gone. I was feeling a little scared, hesitated a little before I went outside to see if what i was feeling was true, and my feeling was right, I was in the 1800's. There was no one around, I saw old houses that looked liked little sheds, pretty flowers everywhere and dirt paths. Terrified and confused I walked around and a few men wearing capes yelling find the witch. I tried to run but they caught me asking me where I came from. I showed them the heart shaped locket and told them I was from 2021, they shouted "witch, get her". I was to terrified to run, they tied me up saying "burn her at the stake". I tried to explain that I was not a witch, but they didn't believe me. Just as they were about to light me on fire, a women in a beautiful black dress with a cape covering her head appeared, grabbed my arm and we disappeared. I opened my eyes and we were at her home, I saw a table, few chairs, a lit fireplace and a bed. She warned me to be careful not to use my magic. I explained to her I had no magic only this heart shaped locket. She looked at the locket and said "yes, this locket has magic". I asked her how I could get back home, she said find the person who sold it to me. I said that was impossible because that was 2021. She thought for a minute and said find me these ingrediencies I can cast a spell to bring him here. I went out and looked for what I needed but they saw me, I hurried back. All of a sudden from no where, the guy appeared, shocked and confused. I asked him how I can get back home he said all I had to do was open it and it would bring me back. Just as I heard the men in capes coming I opened the locket and closed my eyes. As it felt like a dream, I slowly opened my eyes and looked around things were still different. I went to look for the locket but it was nowhere to be found. So I thought I would go for a walk to find the Antique store to ask the little man. I could not find the store but As I am walking down the road, I happened to notice the witch that had helped me, confused and worried I yelled for her. She just kept walking without even looking back. Then she was gone!! I sat down by a tree and thought what do I do know.. I noticed a glare on the ground, it was the locket.. Not knowing what I should do, I opened it. There was a flash of light, and I woke up in my bed. Very confused I rushed to my door to look outside and I was finally home..
