The kid is not hungry but the man?

By Vishalraj MPublished 3 years ago 5 min read

Once upon a time, in a small village on the outskirts of a dense forest, there lived a young boy named Thomas. Thomas was a curious and adventurous child, always seeking new and exciting experiences. He loved exploring the woods around his home and often spent his days wandering through the trees, searching for treasures and hidden secrets.

One day, as Thomas was venturing deeper into the forest, he stumbled upon an old, abandoned mansion. The mansion was dilapidated and overgrown with vines and ivy, but there was something intriguing about it that drew Thomas in. As he cautiously approached the old building, he noticed a figure standing in the shadows of the doorway.

Thomas squinted his eyes, trying to make out who or what the figure was. As he got closer, he realized that it was a man, but not just any man. This man was pale and gaunt, with dark circles under his eyes and long, sharp fangs protruding from his mouth. He was a vampire.

Thomas froze in fear, unsure of what to do. But the vampire did not seem interested in attacking him. Instead, he simply stared at Thomas with a look of curiosity.

"You are a brave young boy," the vampire said in a soft, almost musical voice. "What brings you to this place?"

Thomas hesitated for a moment, but his curiosity got the better of him. "I was exploring the woods," he replied. "And I saw this old mansion. I wanted to see what was inside."

The vampire nodded. "I see. Well, you are welcome to explore the mansion if you wish. But be careful. There are dangers here that you cannot imagine."

Thomas thanked the vampire and cautiously made his way inside the mansion. The interior was even more decrepit than the outside, with cobwebs and dust covering every surface. But as he explored further, Thomas discovered something that made his heart race with excitement.

In the basement of the mansion, he found a treasure trove of ancient artifacts and mysterious objects. There were old books, statues, and even a few pieces of jewelry that looked like they belonged to royalty. Thomas was overjoyed at his discovery and began to examine the objects in more detail.

But as he was lost in his exploration, he suddenly heard a sound that made his blood run cold. It was the sound of the vampire's voice, but it was different this time. It was harsher and more menacing.

"You should not have come here, child," the vampire growled. "This is my home, and you are not welcome."

Thomas looked up to see the vampire standing before him, his eyes glowing with an eerie red light. He knew that he was in danger, but he refused to back down.

"I'm sorry if I've upset you," Thomas said bravely. "But I didn't mean any harm. I was just curious."

The vampire sneered. "Curiosity killed the cat, they say. And it will kill you too, if you're not careful."

Thomas could feel his heart pounding in his chest, but he refused to show any fear. "I don't believe that," he said defiantly. "I think curiosity is a good thing. It helps us learn and grow."

The vampire chuckled. "Perhaps you are right, child. But there are some things that you are not meant to know. Some things that are better left hidden."

Thomas looked around the basement, at all the mysterious objects and ancient artifacts. He knew that there was something important here, something that the vampire was trying to keep hidden.

"What are you hiding?" Thomas asked boldly. "What is so important that you don't want anyone else to see it?"

As they worked tirelessly to protect the powerful artifact, Thomas and the vampire grew closer. They developed a deep mutual respect for each other, and Thomas was constantly amazed by the vampire's wisdom and experience.

Despite their best efforts, however, they knew that the artifact was too powerful and too coveted to remain hidden forever. Eventually, they knew that someone would discover its existence and come looking for it.

One day, as they were discussing their plans for protecting the artifact, the vampire suddenly turned to Thomas with a solemn expression. "There is something I must tell you," he said gravely.

Thomas's heart raced as he braced himself for bad news. "What is it?" he asked, fearing the worst.

The vampire paused for a moment, then spoke in a hushed voice. "I am not the only one who knows about the artifact. There are others, powerful beings who would stop at nothing to possess its power."

Thomas felt a chill run down his spine as he realized the magnitude of the danger they were facing. "What can we do?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

The vampire looked at him with a sad expression. "There is nothing we can do but wait and hope that our plans are enough to protect the artifact. But you must be prepared, Thomas. You must be ready to face whatever comes."

Thomas nodded, feeling a sense of unease settle over him. He knew that they were facing a powerful and mysterious threat, and that there was no way to predict what would happen next.

As the days passed, Thomas remained vigilant, constantly watching for any signs of danger. But despite his best efforts, he could sense that something was amiss.

And then, one night, he felt it. A chill ran down his spine as he realized that they were not alone. Someone, or something, was watching them.

Thomas turned to the vampire, his eyes wide with fear. "They're here," he whispered.

The vampire nodded, his expression grave. "It is time," he said quietly.

Together, they made their way to the chamber where the artifact was kept. As they approached, they could hear the sound of footsteps echoing in the darkness.

Thomas gripped the hilt of his sword tightly, his heart racing as he prepared to face whatever lay ahead.

And then, suddenly, everything went dark. The chamber was plunged into blackness, and Thomas could hear the sound of something moving in the shadows.

He raised his sword, ready to fight, but he could not see his attacker. All around him, he could feel the presence of something powerful and mysterious.

And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, it was over. The darkness lifted, and Thomas found himself standing alone in the chamber.

The artifact was gone.

Thomas felt a sense of despair wash over him as he realized that their plans had failed. The powerful artifact was now in the hands of their enemies, and there was nothing they could do to stop it.

But then, as he turned to leave the chamber, he saw something that made his heart leap. A small piece of parchment lay on the ground, a message scrawled in elegant script.

Thomas picked it up, his hands shaking with excitement and fear.

"Until we meet again," it read.

Thomas knew that he was facing a powerful and mysterious enemy, but he also knew that he was not alone. He had the wisdom and experience of the vampire to guide him, and he had the determination and courage to face whatever lay ahead.

And so he set out, ready to continue the fight, ready to protect the world from the power of the artifact, no matter what mysterious and dangerous threats lay ahead.

The vampire hesitated for a moment, then let out a sigh. "Very well
