Lions and Pirates and Hobbit's, OH MY
binging 101
If being chased by ghost riders on flying dragons, while becoming invisible using the spell of a magic ring enchants and excites you, then grab a beverage and a blanket and cozy on in.
Directed by Peter Jackson” The Lord of the Rings” series enticed and captivated imaginations of all ages for years.
Following a young hobbit on a journey through a mythical fantasy kingdom. From calm green meadows to enchanted mountains, barreling down rivers fighting Orcs, evil wizards, and dragons.
Befriending and traveling alongside elves, wizards, dwarfs, human royalty, and even trees! Yes, walking, talking trees!! Adventure, love, and friendships are not all that is found on this journey. Navigate treachery and betrayal to find that home is more than just a place to hang your hat.
Ultimate Good versus evil at its best!
When you have found your peace with the ups and downs the victories and tears, here are a few other adventures you may be ready for:
When looking for something beyond the cinematography and technological theatrics, (CGI) that “The Lord of the Rings” and the” Hobbit” excels at, but you’re still craving action and adventure. Add in some well-placed one lined humor. (which is my favorite kind.) like, “You will always remember this as the day you ALMOST caught Jack Sparrow”, or “where is the monkey, I want to shoot something”
Well, yippie-kia-yay motherfu@$*$# you’re gonna want to watch all the episodes of The Pirates of the Caribbean!

Follow the life of the notorious Jack Sparrow, Captain of the Black Pearl. After some mishaps and exciting escapes from the dead and the living alike, you’ll come to find in his encounters, that Jack is unbelievably lucky. He is also not the bad guy you once thought, and he may have led you to believe him to be. And that behind his charm, wit, cunning and scheming he seemingly has a tender heart.
Besides, where else can you spot a blonde elf turned brunette blacksmith aka son of a pirate looking pretty bad ass with sword or arrow, thank you very much, Orlando Bloom!
Come aboard matey’s and get your feet wet battling to win the booty, the Black Pearl and the girl “drink up me hearties, yo ho!”
Kudos Jerry Bruckheimer director
C.S. Lewis takes you on a journey through the wardrobe and right into “The Chronicles of Narnia”

Not only is the “Lord of the Rings story drenched in mythology and fantasy, you’re about to discover Narnia also has its main characters struggling with good and evil. Reaching beyond their own power and depending on friends made along the journey to succeed. Both stories share the common thread of a higher being or power, something greater than themselves. Learning that give and take and right and wrong aren’t always as straight forward as you might believe.
Maybe not too surprising to learn that the two authors, Tolken and Lewis were friends in real life, sharing the passion of fantastic adventure and moral philosophies.
Enjoy the CGI that takes you on a whirlwind ride through real life problems and adventure and find some supernatural answers!
There are so many other great films that I came to adore, all because I watched the “Lord of the Rings” and became enamored with its characters and their charm.
Viggo Mortensen: The human king
Hildago, 2004
A history of violence, 2005
And “Captain Fantastic”, 2016
Ian McKellen: Gandolf
X-Men2000-2014
The good Liar 2019
The Davinci Code 2006
Martin Freeman: The Hobbit
Sherlock TV Series 2010-2017
Black Panther 2017
Love Actually 2003
The dog with the woman 2013
It’s is amazing where a good film will take you, it’s even better when the characters come to life and take you beyond the scope of the film.
These are a few of the suggestions I have for this and that.
If you liked this, look me up on vocal, and I can show you that 😊
Thank you for reading, enjoy your binging
