What Does Your Relationship Add Up To ?

You know how you spent years dreading  mathematics and sweating over algebra , trigonometry, calculus and so many other nightmare topics in mathematics ?

Just gives you not-so-great goosebumps just thinking about it, doesn't it ! Blah.

Well,  you'll be happy to know that it was not all in vain ! In fact, it was time very well spent because you can finally make use of the simplest laws of mathematics that you learnt in junior school in your relationships! Let's be honest, next to money  relationships, especially romantic ones can easily be the most challenging thing that  folks are dealing with, right ?

Right.

Most of us are pretty clueless about what works in a relationship and what doesn't. We kinda wing it along  and hope it sticks... Hehehehhh.

Now you can take the two things that you have been clueless about, that is mathematics and relationships and use them to work out your love life ! That's an honours degree in the making

How amazing is that !!!!

Problem A: What two variables must exist for  "X" and  "Y'  to be in happy romantic relationship  ?

If you apply your grade 8 algebra you would solve this by multiplying  "X" and "Y", to get XY" right ?

Wrong !

The solution for problem A is  a lot simpler than grade 8 algebra !  Apparently for a happy romantic relationship both  X and Y must each have the wisdom variable ! So if you have a happy and healthy relationship you and your partner have balanced the relationship equation with your wisdom !

Remember we are applying simple laws of mathematics here,  so don't over think it !

Problem B: What two variables must exist for  "X" and  "Y' who are currently dating for their relationship to be classed as an affair ?

The solution to problem B is a little complicated.  This relationship is an affair because only one of them has wisdom while the other has the dumb variable. One of these partners is a side piece and they are unaware of this status ! We will assume the unknowing side piece is the one with the  "dumb" variable in this relationship although that is a matter of opinion !

It's crazy !

Problem C: What two variables must exist for  "X" and  "Y' who are currently dating for the relationship to end in marriage ? The solution to this one is easy ! You guessed it  right ?  For this relationship to end in marriage, parties X and Y must have different  variables. The solution is the same as in the equation resulting in an affair situation however there are no side pieces involved,  and commitments are made. For a marriage situation to happen one of the parties must have a dumb variable and the other must be wise.  I leave it to the married folk to decide which variable they bring to the equation...

Problem D: What two variables must exist for  "X" and  "Y' who are currently dating for the relationship to end in a live in situation ?

The solution to D: will surprise you !  It might  even offend you somewhat because you may be in this very situation. Here goes !

A Live- In situation comes about when both of the parties in the relationship are carrying the dumb variable  ! The parties X and Y  in problem D are happy in their romance but instead use the dumb variable to make their situation a live in one without a commitment from either of  the two parties...
