Get Reading On Vocal, And Get To Know The Creators.

I write as much as I can here on Vocal.

I love discovering new stories to read, as much as I love writing them.

I have made friends through reading.

I spend a lot of time reading stories here, even the ones that are about topics that are new to me.

You're probably saying,

"That sounds boring!"

It is far from boring!

I have days when I choose what to read, and days when I choose a random story and read, I find that titles can be deceiving. I often click on a sub-title and I think to myself,

"Oh, this sounds boring!"

I attempt to read the story, and I discover that it is more interesting than the title says it is.

I am a paying member of the Vocal community, and I like to get the best value I can for my membership fee.

After all, I am the one paying the fee, and I am paying it so that I can get all the benefits that I want from the site.

I wouldn't feel that I was benefitting much, just by writing!

Reading on Vocal has many advantages as listed below:

• You will get more benefits from the site, after all, it is a reading and writing platform.

• You will discover many interesting stories and not just 'top stories;' an article doesn't need to be a top story for it to be a good read.

• You'll get discovered. Discovery is all about community engagement, just as much as sharing your stories elsewhere. My followers reached 90 recently after I spent more time engaging with other creators. Engaging and commenting get you noticed, and creators often read your stories out of interest.

• Other creators will share your stories if they like them. You might find that you can pay it back, by sharing theirs. After all, sharing helps us to earn, and sharing the stories from others lets them know that you appreciate their work.
• You'll discover some great fiction here on Vocal. I love reading and writing fiction, and there are some amazing writers on this site.
• You can learn new things. There are articles of all kinds here, and you might even pick up a new hobby, or even find a new music interest if you read the beat community.

The creators are what makes Vocal a lively, motivating, and thriving community of writers. Many of us love reading and writing here.

However, we get paid when people read the stories that we create.

Pay it back by reading a bit more; not just the familiar creators, but also the new creators and the less well-known creators.

Some creators really struggle to be seen on the platform, especially when they are new.

I remember struggling to get a single read for a very long time when I first joined Vocal. I nearly gave up.

Imagine putting time and hard work into your own story, only to find that nobody is reading.

Some writers are popular here, and they are popular amongst the creative community. However; even they will remember the struggles they faced in getting their work seen when they first started.

It is a great idea to read the works of others because developing a community where creators help creators enable a supportive environment.

One where creators will want to stay.

I was nervous when I first started writing here. I was clumsy with my work because I had never shared my work online before.

Vocal should be about reading, writing, and sharing.

That to me is teambuilding, and teambuilding enables creators to get the most out of what they do best.
