This poem was written on my phone.

Last night I dreamt I exchanged

Rent for an antique

In a parlour owned by

Peter Hinwood.

I slept on the floor, eyes

Up at a Baroque ceiling

Complete with figures

Painted by

Derek Jarman.

Flawless, misunderstood

Design,

Harbour your tempest,

Take me away.

Let me dream.

Dear Annie - Mom was an avid antique collector, just gorgeous, mostly British pieces now throughout my home. Since I'm getting older the 'kids' are unabashedly putting 'Dibbs' on each piece..! - Dream on - Jk.in.l.a.

  • I didn't know who they are so I had to Google them πŸ˜…πŸ˜… Loved your poem

  • Very surreal and I love Derek Jarman. Love the picture too
