And still, I do obsess

Through long dark nights

Through long, dark nights I must confess

Each lingering thought becomes regret

And still, I do obsess.

Your breath when hitched I caress

It speaks of time I can’t forget

And still, I do obsess.

Each grasp did bind in sweet duress

Hands touching in the silhouette

And still, I do obsess.

I hear your name in my distress

The peak of storms remains unmet

And still, I do obsess.

Your touch, a flame I cannot suppress

Kisses and tease paint lips all wet

And still, I do obsess.

Through long, dark nights I must confess

We are as one in a lover’s debt

Through long, dark nights I must confess

And still, I do obsess.

Very relatable. I hate when my thoughts become obsessive. lol 😂 .

  • I could feel the obsession increasing with the flow of the poem great work
