Proceed with caution, for a day will come
When the fragile world you've carefully made
Will leave you alienated, lonesome
Mocked, ridiculed, insulted and betrayed

The trusted and the loved will turn on you
Or, steadfast and true, they'll sicken and die
Your body will its vile options review
And unleash maladies from toe to eye

You must keep shock and resentment at bay
These dangers lie in store for everyone
Nature, her iron logic must obey
And bring an end to each, frail mortal's fun

Time has a limited attention span
All things end in the void, where they began

Well-wrought! Death comes to us all. Some consider it a bane, some a mercy.
I love how grounded this reads. And those last two lines are phenomenal! "Time has a limited attention span," is definitely going to stick with me.
A great announcement, sure it will be well received
Yup, one day, nature is gonna wipe us all out. Loved your poem!
