Bonds that Endure

Don't stick around when it hurts so bad

By Uncledee'Published about a year ago 1 min read

Don't stick around when it hurts so bad,

When the touch that once ignited flames

now only lingers like a memory,

A shadow of passion that once was.

Physical attraction isn't a measure of a relationship,

As beauty fades like autumn leaves,

And intercourse techniques become all too familiar,

A routine, a rhythm with no heartbeat.

You need more, something more,

Something that speaks to the soul,

A love that transcends the surface,

One that blooms even in the darkest of nights,

when the stars are all hidden, and the moon is shy,

A love that breathes life into the mundane,

and turns the ordinary into extraordinary.

For love is not just in the glances exchanged,

nor is the electric touch of skin,

It's in the silent understanding,

the comfort in each other's presence,

The unspoken words that say,

"I see you, I feel you, I am with you."

It's in the shared dreams, the whispered hopes for tomorrow,

the gentle reassurance that no storm is too fierce,

no mountain is too high, When hearts beat as one.

You need better love, a real love,

One that holds you even when the world unravels,

when the beauty of youth is but a distant echo,

and time has carved its mark upon your faces.

A love that does not waver in the face of hardship,

but stands tall, unyielding, like ancient oaks

that weather the fiercest winds.

Seek the love that endures,

the one that dances through the years,

through laughter and tears,

Through the quiet moments and the chaotic,

A love that evolves, matures,

deepens like the roots of a mighty tree,

Grounded, yet reaching for the skies.

Do not settle for the fleeting,

for the momentary highs that leave you hollow,

Seek the love that fills your soul,

that nurtures your spirit, That grows with you.

When beauty fades, techniques lose their allure,

It's the bond that endures,

the connection that defies explanation,

The love that stands the test of time,

That will be your sanctuary, Your refuge, your home.
