Obstacles are getting in the way
Obstructing the view
Making dreams a little cloudy
Reality is misty

Force to look back
Dreading the future
Looking for a way out

Blinded by the hardships of life
Stuck in the same place
Greeted by depression
The obstacles make the light go out

Look backwards and met with guilt of past mistakes
Look forward and met with fear and anxiety
Look down and met with depression, and defeat
There is only one more way to look
Look up and be met with power, love, peace, and joy
Look up and there is light
Look up and there is a plan for the future
Look up and all the obstacles are easier to get around
Look up and trust the Lord's guidance
The only one to follow blindly
