Checkmate bitch, it's my turn to go from the pawn to the Queen.
The difference between me, the pawn, and you, the rook, is that I levelled up and chose my own path while you stay in the past.
Watch me go from moving across the board observing the game and listen to you judge how small, stupid and weak I am.
But I've managed to cross the board with ease
Now watch me in my new levelled-up life execute the board and shine like the Queen I am.

The Lesions of Devotion
Every day I set myself down on the freshly cut lawn and strip myself bare. I take my guitar and finger the frets and pick at the strings, listening for dissonance. My life is dissonance. I twist the tuning pegs until each string sounds bright. Then I kneel, calves pointing behind me, kneecaps facing forward. All exposed to the breeze. I close my eyes and play the melody.
