Compass

Paths of Self-Discovery and Transformation

Wandering in empty spaces, heading to nowhere

Paths full of ambiguous signs,

leading to dead end.

People passing by like shadows

with a frozen stare

For my agonised questions

no one seems to care…

How can I

read the broken compass of my heart?

Everything I was just fell apart

There is nothing left for me to see

Lost in darkness, aimlessly I spin.

So tell me

Who will guide my steps and where to go?

Or show me everything there is to know?

I’m so scared to follow my will

Uncharted territories are inviting me, but still…

Failure was my middle name,

it drowned me in despair

Guilt and shame found one another,

they became a pair

Nightmares tortured me at night,

they poisoned all my dreams

Loneliness crushed my existence,

I fell on my knees…

Then you came

’n’ brought with you

the scent of countless Springs

Smiling, you repaired my broken wings

You erased the blame

by sanctifying all sin

You put a stop to ending,

showed me how to begin

I know now

You’re the one my soul was looking for

(and maybe)

We will heal each other’s wounded core

(my life’s light)

There’s no land to hold me anymore

Unless… it’s you.
