Here's to the moorless musings

Not everyone finds

A reason

A tether

A hope

Or some grand sign to stay.

Sometimes the only thing keeping me here

Is the fact that I still can’t spell mischivious

Mischeevyous

Meschevious

And I get distracted from the spiral

Long enough to google my next

Insignificant pondering.

The same curiosity they say

killed the cat

is what has brought me back.

Here’s to the insignificant ponderings,

Here’s to the moorless musings,

Here’s to the ones who can’t leave

Until they know.

Because how can I give up,

when I still don’t know what my favorite food is?

or if elephants are actually scared of mice?

or if you can really slip on a banana peel?

or what the sunset will look like tomorrow?

Sometimes all it takes,

is a little wonder, and a little bravery,

to find the path again.

Keep asking, keep searching, keep wondering,

And, along the way, you’ll find

the courage to be curious

And you will eventually break free from the shackles of the past. Yesterday's rain won't wet you today, and the rising sun will eventually shine upon the land you have trodden on. Life should be free. Go with joy and return with satisfaction. We believe in the soul and blood, and the will of freedom never fades.

Yes. I loved this. Sometimes, you just have to be.
