It is that time

and you don't have to rhyme

Poem a Day in February

or PaDiF, as January

is over for another year

Please join us for fun, no tear

Well maybe

We will see

Poetry can be sad

or make us mad

This week's contest hog

is anything groundhog

Groundhog day

Groundhog play

Isn't he the cutest

Yes, he's the best

Format is freestyle

Try it for a while

doesn't need to rhyme

please chime

in, you can make a dime

well, more it's not a crime

to make a dime.

okay, even nonsense

will work, doesn't have to make sense!

Fun and encouraging, with a light rhythm that suits the message well.
