In the middle of nature
After my walk
Down by the river
I sat on a rock
I Listened to the thunderous roar of the wind in the distance,
I listened to the constant ruckus of wave's on the rocks,
I heard birds chirping their own little song,
And rapids rushing, crashing along.
I smelt... The river,
What I could only explain...
As fresh and pure,
Stoney and plain.
I tasted... Saliva,
Salty and sweet,
It's early this morning,
I have yet to eat.
I watched the current as it was flowing,
The tree's on the shore as they were growing,
The rocks by the cliff that fell to their doom,
The flowers on the shore preparing to bloom.
I felt the rock I was sitting upon...
I felt the wind whisking my face,
I felt my pen pressing the page,
I felt my wool coat with one warm embrace!

Very vivid imagery and a poem that spoke to me, a nature fanatic. I felt every word. Great work!
Great way to start the day, out in nature at break of day, Very lovely.
This was a great sensory poem, I love that you explored each of the senses and the way you highlighted each part to emphasize that sense! Smart move and great job Dylan!
Super with great details of the sensations. Good luck with the sensory challenge Dylan!
