Dreams?

No metaphor,

No noun

Could ever describe

How profound

***

These dreams,

These hauntings,

Akin to a smooth song;

Yet hectic in my blood;

***

Fire of passion

Tides of hope!

All too majestic

All till they’re chained

***

And held down.

Till it consumes you.

And engulfs you.

***

Yet there lies a remedy;

The remedy of time.

***

A hard one to take,

Yet still the best fate.

~ End ~
