I kept pleading with myself to be strong
"Do everything you can to not fall."
But it happened... I found myself slipping
Slipping into what I knew could be the biggest heartbreak
I wouldn't do it, I knew better
I shouldn't, have but I did
I couldn't resist the pull I felt to you
I fought it with every ounce of strength in me
But there was no resisting you
I needed to feel you here with me
But I knew that was a dangerous game to play
It was over, I began to fall
And all I could do...
Was hope that your arms would be there to catch me.
