Finding Courage in Every Step Forward

Beneath the gray and pouring skies,
You walk a path where sorrow lies.
Raindrops fall, and shadows loom,
But still, you press against the gloom.
Each step you take, though slow and small,
Is courage standing ten feet tall.
The puddles try to pull you down,
But strength is found in solid ground.
Your footprints mark where you have been,
A trail of hope through thick and thin.
The storm may rage, the sky may weep,
Yet forward still, your spirit keeps.
The rain will pass, the clouds will break,
The sun will shine across the lake.
And when you look back on this lane,
You’ll see your footprints in the rain.
Proof that you, though tired and worn,
Faced the storm and walked till dawn.
A testament of quiet grace,
A journey made at your own pace.
