A Veneer Over Me
I listened to old music today
Nostalgia like veneer over me couldn't keep feelings away
Now I know why I skip yesteryear and keep to my heart only the most dear
Remembrance like a token of love
May make my heart fly away
It was stolen yesterday
Is everything ok?
You sure?
For certain the swallows are loving new pictures of the heart
Remembrance like a token glove
I sense the toxic of another person
The biggest part in this is love
I hope you understand
I listened to old music today
There is no part that I didn't miss
Let me mend your brokenness
With wings that only comfort brings
Patterns in the sound are patterns in the heart
A new pattern is a fresh start
A heart prevailing

Draft Deleting? Don't Do It!
Today, I had a little time. I decided that I would have a look at the drafts that I have on Vocal. This is part of a long-term wish to have everything I've written on paper rather than virtually. I've not looked at them for weeks and something drew me to them, just to browse and see what was there.
