Unnecessary Line

The forest is bright where the rays slip past.

There are stripes of light and dark.

The leaves carving the dark from sunlight vast.

Forest creatures at peace, not looking for an ark.

Chirps and tweets make music from trees.

Yips, grunts and growls rise from low on the ground.

Leaves are rustled as big ones move with impressive ease.

Small ones flash, then cannot be found.

Insects fly or crawl or scurry or run.

Their buzzing song is strong and clear.

An upright one in orange with a steel and wood gun.

Jumping, hopping, movement everywhere.

Peaceful time and peaceful sound.

Fathers, mothers, offspring too.

Survival dictates their forest rounds.

Searching for, looking for today's needed food.

Peaceful. Pleasant. Tranquility at its finest.

Nature’s masterpiece. A painting, a song, fine art.

Every day rain or shine authored by the divinest.

Just before sun up, a new edition is forced to start.
