As I lie alone in my bed

And Morpheus takes me away with his dream sand

You appear to me

Beautiful, sensual, irresistible goddess

Daughter of Aphrodite, sister of Eros

Fierce as Artemis, wanton as a Nymph

In this land of dreams

You settle yourself to ride me, fearless Amazon

And I am a willing slave

I surrender to the mist of unhinged lust

I give the offering of my seed

Hoping that you, goddess, will accept it

And in return

Love me and promise yourself to me

But alas, I wake

Gasping, heart racing, grasping at thin air

And you, goddess, vanish away

Leaving only a mess of wet sheets and despair

Farewell, mere mortal, you tease

For only in your dreams would you posses me
