Grew Up Too Fast

There once was a time our biggest stress was learning to tie our shoes,

Going from Velcro shoes to shoes with laces made you the coolest kid on the playground.

Now our biggest stress is figuring out the best hustles to pay the rent.

Somewhere between learning to tie shoes and paying for rent, we forgot to play.

Somehow, we forgot to save time for ourselves to enjoy life.

Why does growing up mean stop having fun?

Maybe Peter Pan was on to something.

Going to Neverland and never growing up seems really nice at the moment,
