I loved the horse farm

Maria would always take us

On those hot summer days

The mosquitoes were out heavy

Thirsty as a marathon runner

We each got a horse

Mine was named Little Lady

But she wasn't so little

She looked like an ox

That's how huge she was

Our daily hike was treacherous

But Little Lady was healthy

Up the mountain we go

Every drop of my sweat

Dripping down my slick forehead

But as we came down

The breeze felt so nice

Time to put them up

Nice to see Little Lady

Until my next farm visit
