Hi I’m Bridget

Here in Leicester Square

Hi I’m Bridget

Jones is the name

I shot to fame

Or at least my diary did

In 2001

Me a damsel in distress

With two unlikely Galahads

To come to my rescue

English gentlemen

Though not above

Fighting in the street

Over me it seems

Both men of my dreams

Did brawl

Let them fight it out I say

I’ll make my choice another day

Or

Should I say

In another

Screenplay

Thanks for reading

What a fun poem! Also, I had no idea there was a Bridget Jones statue somewhere in the world.

I've heard of Bridget Jones but I know nothing about her or her diary 😅😅 Loved your poem and photo!
