I have to get normal

I get that it’s 2024 and we’re supposed to say everyone’s perfect the way they are—even though we actively find ways to make people recognize something new they just just change—but I think if I just kinda grabbed pieces of myself floating around my body in colorful electricity and simply tied them down, then I wouldn’t be sitting here alone and panicking right now.

Like, instead of watching other people be normal, I can practice being normal myself.

—————————

Today’s to do:

1. Pick out a decent outfit. A nice shirt, some regular jeans. Maybe even shower before. Yeah, let’s get that done. Clean my teeth too.

2.Go to the store when everyone’s about, grab a shopping cart and not think of all the eyes that surely aren’t looking at me

3. Call a friend. Text a friend. See a friend. Any of these would work, but I gotta have some social interactions

4. Get some exercise? Seems like more people are into that these days. Maybe join a running group.

5.Breathe baby breathe. It’s not that deep

Things to not do:

1. Don’t smile so awkwardly when people speak to you

2. Don’t over or under share. No one needs to know all of that, but maybe this is something they should know

7. Don’t panic. Don’t freak out.

—————————-

Alrighty, the checklist has been made. Time to get out there and start the first day of normalcy.

And a one

and a two…

Just breathe baby. Breathe

Wow you certainly do have some conflicts going on there. I hope 2025 will be a better year for you.
