If my loneliness could speak

A poetry

By Gustavo SanchezPublished 2 years ago β€’ 1 min read

If my loneliness could speak, I would shout at you about how much you miss me here, I would tell you that I miss you, that I want you like you have never imagined.

If my loneliness could speak I would tell you that I can't stop thinking about you, that the lack of your presence causes me to think about you every moment, I would tell you that despite the distance I feel you as if you were here.

If my loneliness spoke when I hugged you, I would no longer let you leave, let you get away from me so as not to miss you.

But since she doesn't tell you anything, she only consoles herself with thinking about you and imagining herself hugging you.

If my loneliness could speak, it would be me, wishing you were here.

My loneliness misses you. R3
