Inappropriate Therapist

He laughs at my pain

By Jesse LeePublished 2 months ago Updated 2 days ago 1 min read

My therapist laughs at my pain

With a joke he will never refrain

I’ll tell stories of trauma

He’ll say “your momma”

And “that’s what she said” when I say brain

His last joke was about being sodomized by your doctor

Jesse Lee

Poems and essays about faith, failure, love, and whatever’s still twitching after the dust settles. Dark humor, emotional shrapnel, occasional clarity, always painfully honest.

OGM! Your therapist? I hope you took him for all he was worth. So sorry for that additional pain.
