Sibilant hushes
Implore, quixotically, for quiet
Little mouths born to fill out the world around them
Ecstatically exhale unfinished thoughts
Noble enchanters with magical tomes
Cage the wriggling wildlings cacophonous voices
Evincing entrance to the ink stained forests of imagination

Thank you, it was one of my favorites as well!
Wonderful acrostic… great topic for Silence! Love the last line especially.
Lovely. Well done!
Bravo! An impressive bit of wordsmithing in this! Astutely done, Shaun!
Great acrostic, Shaun, although in my experience, libraries tend to be more dynamically noisy places now. I want to visit the library of this poem.though.
My mind often feels like that.
A bibliophile's delight!
