Karma

One day a man was running late

And needed to catch his flight

While he was trying to catch a taxi

I decided to give him a ride

He caught his flight on time

And to me he was eternally grateful

He was off to marry his wife

On some island in Barbados

As he got off the plane

He gave money to a man in poverty

That poor man bought a ticket

then soon won the lottery

That man went around the world

Found a wife and settled down

Then he started a family

and raised them in my home town

One day I was heading to a wedding of my own

and my tire blew out so I pulled to the side

Where that once poor man pulled over

and asked "Do you need a ride?"

I was shot in the face at point blank range with a double barrel 12 gage during an strong arm robbery that quickly turned into an Attempted Murder. Although I'm missing my right eye and a bullet in my brain. I AM STILL ME & I AM STILL HERE
