Kids are Copycats

So, we better serve as good role models

The little boy was one and a half,

pulling his puppy toy,

in the backyard garden.

He saw Mommy working

in the garden,

staking the nasturtium vines,

with mulberry stalks.

Next, Mommy saw something

funny and amazing.

The little boy, barefoot,

holding a stalk,

trying to stake a vine too.

Mommy was impressed,

she knew kids are copycats.

she saw it now.

So, we must act

as good role models,

or our children will copy our flaws

and make a messy world.

Let us be source of inspiration.

You see, little souls,

are watching our actions.
