Kinetic Devotion
Where the body becomes orchestra and motion becomes confession

A subtle tremor gathers beneath my skin—
not fear, but ignition.
Muscle turns molten, weighted yet willing,
elastic with unsung intention.
Some hidden metronome begins its ascent,
low at first—
a pulse rising from the cavern of marrow,
summoning motion from stillness.
I wrench myself from gravity’s pocket,
carving wide arcs through waiting air,
each gesture bolder than the last,
momentum assembling bone by bone.
Friction crowns the body in heat—
I liquefy into light,
neon dissolving into rhythm,
glittering against the architecture of sound.
Notes scatter like sparks across darkness;
I chase them—
vaulting, spiraling, surrendering
to their ecstatic collision.
Emotion detonates in orchestral bloom—
feral and magnificent—
every register of being
braided into one roaring spectrum.
Illumined by reverent vibration,
I oscillate between rapture and rupture,
calm as cloistered breath,
wild as a fractured pulse.
I heed gravity’s verdict,
let descent teach its honest lesson.
Ash follows flame.
Exhaustion follows ecstasy.
Yet even as I fall, I release—
words spilling from the cooling forge,
naming the weight I carried,
shattering inherited illusions.
I burn, I empty, I begin again.
Tomorrow waits—
a quiet stage,
a body ready to rise.
