Ladybugs Are Magic
And Beautiful
Introduction
While I think that ladybird is a better description than ladybug, they are beautiful creatures, and ladybug is the word on the American landmass. I love seeing them, and if one lands on me, I enjoy the tickle of their feet.
This is a poem for my wonderful Muse, who loves these magical creatures.
The song is the beautiful "Ladybird" by Natalie Merchant. It is beautiful but sad.
