Lies

Lies

-*-

Of all the lies that I'd been told

there is one that rings of true:

that the only and great virtue

is to break from one self hold.

-*-

'cause there are myriads of small nous

that can add up to your fight,

if you aid yourself just right

you'll escape from Hell's abuse.

-*-

Now, just be cautious with your ploy,

you don't want your echo aware;

run abrading your soul bare,

use your tears as sheer decoys.

-*-

You'll see your zeal go wild

as you reach the forest's fringe;

this is where your victory hinges,

after years feeling defiled.

-*-

Of all the lies that I'd been told

there is one that holds no true:

"Life is pain in a long queue!"...

...watch me grasp free rein ahold.

    A sense of truth and freedom! Love it.

  • "Now, just be cautious with your ploy, you don't want your echo aware; run abrading your soul bare, use your tears as sheer decoys." I especially loved that stanza!
