Lonely Together

At least I have you

Life goes on even when time stands still.

I watch my friends’ lives unfold before me,

feeling detached and alone.

It’s tough when everything seems to pass me by,

but at least I have you.

When things get tough, you’re there for me too.

We both feel the same way, and we both see the same things.

Our experiences are similar, and at least we’re lonely together.

Aww, damn. There's nothing quite like having someone to help you get through your loneliness. Wonderful poem!
