Look After Your Cholesterol

Don’t end up on satins or worse behind to yourself

Look After Your Cholesterol

Look after your cholesterol, do not laugh it away,

The heart is a quiet worker that never asks for praise.

It beats through every careless meal and restless night,

Keeping your secrets in rhythm and in faith.

Do not be foolish with your health,

For the body remembers what the mind ignores.

Every plate tells a story in silence,

Every choice settles somewhere deep inside.

The arteries are not made of stone,

They narrow with habit and years of neglect.

What seems small today can grow heavy tomorrow,

A whisper becoming a weight upon the chest.

You deserve mornings that feel light,

Steps that carry you without strain.

Food can be comfort, warm and kind,

Yet kindness must also guard your future.

Lower the salt, soften the sugar,

Let greens and honest grains fill the plate.

Choose oils that bless rather than burden,

And water that clears the quiet stream within.

It is not about beauty or numbers alone,

It is about breath that comes without fear.

About rising from sleep with steady strength,

And trusting your own pulse beneath your hand.

Age is not the enemy, neglect is.

The years can still be generous and bright.

Care is a form of self respect,

A promise spoken without noise.

Look after your cholesterol, take it seriously now.

The heart has carried you faithfully this far.

Return that loyalty with wiser living,

And let your days unfold with strength and grace.
