Suddenly the sound was missing.
I cupped my ears, panic-stricken,
Lost onstage, my band still playing.
End of malleus and membrane.
Now, after many months of pain,
Came science to let me hear again:
Electrodes drilled into my brain.

What a unique take! Great acrostic!
Very expressive and I wish you all the best.
Very impactful. I love your Acrostic!
Ooooh...this is very clever. Such a real problem with that particular genre of music and actual loud music in general. You make the intensity and fear of that situation feel real and palpable. Well done, Addison.
Oh my, that was so scaryyyy! Loved your Acrostic!
