A human can do so many things,
But why, oh why, do they have no wings?
If I did, I would fly up so high,
Reach out a hand and touch the sky;
And twirl amongst the stars as they sing.

Lovely!!!💖💖💕
Crazy how relatable this is - love it!
Reminds me of a bird trapped in a cage metaphor. Nicely done.
This is so wistfully sweet.
I feel the same way! Terrific poem!
