Misplaced Trust
yesterday, today and tomorrow.
By Tennessee GarbagePublished 5 months ago • 1 min read
Yesterday,
we smiled.
No locks.
No lies.
Stories of hope
traded.
Today—
hearts shattered.
Eyes shift.
Doors close.
Barricaded.
Trust
fell
loudly.
Lost
on deaf ears.
Cries-
Help
withheld.
Now,
each step
feels stolen.
The future
waits—
patrons watching,
shallow breaths,
listening.
Waiting—
for signs
of hope,
of life,
or
the end.

Howdy! There is relatable stuff here- dark and twisty and some sentimental garbage. "Don't forget to tip your waitresses" Hi, I am your waitress, let me serve you with more content. Hope you enjoy! :)
