Passionate Friend

I was thinking , how does my Muse make it so that I can get and channel ideas. Almost everyone else has no effect on me whatsoever, and while working today I was listening to “Wilder” by The Teardrop Explodes and then Julian Cope and the band launched into the gorgeous “Passionate Friend” and then struck me , my Muse is passionate about everything that matters to them , in the most positive way,

When we talk it’s like I am charged with something and then I can create. I wasn’t so sure what I was going to write about , and really two poems have to be written, one about the nature of passion as I see it, and one about my Muse and the passion they show.

I know some may try to equate passion with sex , but apart from the adrenalin based euphoria, whatever your passion is will give you that feeling of a high.

So first a short free form poem on passion: and then a sonnet for my Muse
