Plague Ship

Scurrying rats of memory

Regret without

Remedy

Time wounds,

Digs down

Into you

Deeper with every

Moment.

_

Somewhere

Someone

Is saying something

Stupid about time

Healing but some

Feelings plague-sicken

Stricken minds

Spread on ships

Of thought, scurrying rats

Of memory, moods mired in mud

And dreams bring only fits

Of coughing blood.

_

Sometimes

Broken does not

Get fixed.
